What you bring to SBHG:
BBS licensed MFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD or PhD
2 years-post licensure experience with ability to provide Clinical Supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students in Behavioral Services or Psychology related fields, preferred
Master's degree in family/child counseling, development or psychology, social services or professional counseling or related social science field.
Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, children, adolescents and/or adults, depending on setting preferred.
BLS CPR/First Aid
Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting, preferred.
Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
How you will make a difference:
Primary responsibility for directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. Clinical Director may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. The Clinical Director acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. This position involves planning, implementation, monitoring, and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Clinical Director represents the agency to county agencies and the community. The Clinical Director may meet with clients, provide direct care and treatment, and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Clinical Director is responsible for overall facility/program management.
This position has the responsibility of and provides direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff, ensuring services are in accordance with BBS standards and signs off on BBS hours.
Division/Program Overview:
The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours
Rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention
All age groups β children, adolescents, adults, and older adults β who need immediate access to crisis mental health services.
The center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization
Individuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.
