Pre-Hospital Coordinator RN in the Emergency Department at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.
Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that sees an average of 240 patients per day. We are Level 4 Trauma Certified and a Stroke and STEMI receiving department.

The Pre Hospital Care Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the SMMC Base hospital designation in accordance with ICEMA Policy #3020 Base Hospital Designation, and ICEMA Policy #1040 MICN Authorization. The Coordinator shall be responsible for developing/providing appropriate educational programs for staff, physicians, EMT-P and EMT personnel, and the community. The Coordinator shall be responsible for performance improvement, data collection and maintenance of all quality improvement programs.
Serves as a positive role model for the pre-hospital system while representing SMMC at Inland Counties EMS Agency, San Bernardino County Fire Department, Victor Valley Fire Department, Apple Valley Fire Department, Cal Fire, other EMS agencies and transport providers, as well as the public.
