Job Description

Our Team Members exemplify the Farmer Boys brand image as the first point of contact with our guests. You will deliver exemplary service before, during, and after taking or making orders.

As a Team Member, you may:

• Take orders
• Manage registers
• Maintain the dining room
• Work the drive-thru
• Cook fresh, made-to-order food
• Prepare fresh ingredients

Experience is great but not required. We love to teach if you love to learn. We provide hands-on training and online courses to prepare you for success.

Job Summary

As a Team Member, you will have opportunities to learn different positions, such as:

• Cashier – Provide friendly, courteous service by greeting each guest with a smile and making them feel welcome.
• Drive-Thru Team Member – Work with a team to deliver fast and efficient service.
• Grill Cook – Help cook food fresh on the grill.
• Food Prep – Prepare ingredients such as chopping lettuce or making zucchini dishes.

Job Details

Work Hours:
Full-time and part-time hours are available.

Career Advancement / Career Plan:

Requirements

Experience:
No experience required. However, 1+ year of experience in a restaurant or customer service position, cooking, or food preparation is preferred.

Education:
No education required, though a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Communication:

• Ability to speak and read English is preferred.
• A second language is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate efficiently with customers.

Competencies:

• Kitchen skills
• Customer service skills
• Time management
• Experience using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system is preferred.

Food Handler Card:
Required where applicable.

Physical Demands:
Team Members regularly:

• Stand, talk, and hear
• Use close and distant vision
• Taste or smell food
• Use their hands repeatedly to reach, handle, feel, or grasp objects

Occasionally:

• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift objects up to 40 lbs
