Industrial Sales Associate

 We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Industrial Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a desire to build lasting client relationships. The Industrial Sales Associate will work closely with the Estimator and internal departments to support sales growth, prepare accurate quotes, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. 

 Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Estimator to competitively price one-time bids and annual contracts.
• Prepare, review, and submit quotes, bids, and sales documents on schedule.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product and service information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to support sales growth.
• Enter opportunities into the quote form and maintain accurate sales records.
• Track sales activity, analyze performance, and generate reports for management.
• Coordinate with accounting, operations, and warehouse staff to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Maintain organized records, filing systems, and documentation for sales and contracts.

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent; additional education in business or sales is a plus.
• Sales experience preferred, ideally in industrial supply, construction, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel test required during interview).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in the construction, industrial, or manufacturing industry.
• Experience preparing bids, quotes, or sales contracts.

Candidates invited to interview will complete a brief math and spelling test, as well as an on-the-spot Excel test to demonstrate proficiency.This position is on-premise. Remote work is not available.
